Privacy policy.

What we collect, where it lives, and what we do with it. Plain language, then the long version.

This is a template, published while professional review is pending. It will be replaced before any customer content is used for training.

The short version

  • Recordings are audio only. Video is stripped on arrival and never stored.
  • Everything is stored in the United States.
  • Recordings are kept until you delete them. You can delete a recording and keep its transcript.
  • We use customer content to improve our models only when the workspace has turned consent on. The default is set at signup and can be changed at any time.
  • Suppliers (meeting bot, transcription, model providers) process data under their standard terms, which we link to.
  • When you add a web page whose words only appear once its scripts run, we ask Cloudflare to open it in a browser. Cloudflare receives only that page’s public address, nothing from your workspace, and discards the page once it has answered.
  • You can export everything and delete your workspace yourself.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google or Microsoft), workspace content you add (people, projects, recordings, transcripts, survey responses, imports), and product usage (which features you use, when). If you connect a calendar, we also read its events (see Connected calendars below). We do not collect video or payment card numbers (Stripe does).

Signing in with Google or Microsoft

If you choose Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft, that account gives us your name, email address and profile picture. We use them only to create your Narrera account and sign you in. We never receive your password, and signing in gives us no access to your email, files or contacts. You can use an email address and password instead.

Connected calendars

If you connect a Google or Microsoft calendar so the notetaker can join your calls, we read your events with read-only access: each event’s title, times, meeting link and guest list. We use them only to decide which calls the notetaker joins and who was on them. Our meeting-bot supplier, Recall.ai, keeps the calendar in sync for us. We never change your calendar, and you can disconnect it at any time in Settings.

Google user data

Narrera’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Where it lives

Supabase and object storage in US regions. Backups are point-in-time plus nightly replication. We test restores quarterly.

Who sees it

Members of your workspace, and anyone you give a read-only link. Narrera staff access workspace content only to resolve a support request you have opened, and we log that access.

Your rights

Export, correct and delete, from inside the product. Email privacy@narrera.com for anything the product does not let you do yourself.
